As a mother of a British Citizen living in Germany, do I need a visa to travel with him to the UK?

hmm i dont think it should be a problem. If you are holding germany permanent residency it should not be. I know u can travel with your driver license in EU. If you have EU passport the problem is solved. Or try to call the UK Ambassade or Germany.
