So, was his reply to me moving back good or bad?

I met this guy couple yrs ago in my hometown at college,he liked me but i wasnt into him and booked state across country for a year,we kept in touch tho,he recently told me he wanted to do his residency in my new city which got me to start liking him,shortly after i took a trip home for a visit and spent the week hanging with him,the night bfor i left we had sex.Its been 1 week and I decided to head back home and stay at my brothers and save money,i told him this and he said"I like you too, thats quite a decision..i hope its not just cuz of me..but would be nice if you were around" so..um, is that reply of his good or bad? as in any interest he has towards me?
