State Residency and Financial Aid?

In 2008 I moved to LA for 2 years. Obviously during the time I was there I got an ID and everything. Last year in June I moved back to Florida but because of many different reasons I wasn't able to get a Florida ID until this past January. I actually got the same ID number I used to have prior to moving away (the guy at the DMV said he would just reissue the same ID I used to have). The only difference with my ID now is that it has an issue date of January. I really really want to get back to school for the Fall semester but I can't afford to pay as an out of state student. If I can somehow prove to the school that I've been here since last year by showing bills or whatever, would that help to get financial aid?
