If my mom lives in California & I live in another state, Will I still qualify for Cali Residency for College?

If you claim you lived in California one year before your application date, you could be considered in-state student. But if you are attending school in another state and want to transfer those credits, you could not do it or if you are working in another state and have to put your financial information on the school application, you would be falsifying your application if you omitted that income information.
